August is the first month I’ve ever had three weekends booked solid with art. ☀️🌸
At 6:30 pm on Wednesdays, we explore restorative yoga & I provide soothing sounds at @anahatayogawi in Brookfield.
My next full sound bath at Anahata is Sunday 8/9. 🩵 Then, you can find me at @iwbayview on 8/16 singing at the Patio Makers Market. Including two weddings and a fundraiser, this is the most musical month of my life and I’m so grateful. I’m putting the finishing touches on my album and preparing for my album release picnic in September, which you’re invited to!

Other artistic August happenings: I’m writing books, I get to dance and perform in a puppet show @the.lonely.marsh by @ruliablair and sell my handmade whatnots this month at @juliagravesmusic album release 🤯

A week ago I was stressing out about juggling multiple passions, and actually dared to claim “I couldn’t do it all.” I’ve been pressuring myself to “pick a lane” for the past 10 years. I’ve been repeating this stress loop for as long as I can remember. It’s such utter nonsense. It would be a disservice to my soul if I didn’t explore every possible avenue my creativity could travel. Gotta face facts: I was born to do and make many things.

In January I said this was the year I finally “did my art.” Well, we’re arting babe. We are ARTING. All the art. All of it.

Today was beautiful. I’m so happy I got to share something I love so much with SO. MANY. PEOPLE. The room was full wall to wall. Such a good feeling 🙌

The team put so much work into this studio and the effort, intention and care are clear the minute you walk in. You should really come check it out. 💕
